PASKO SA PUSO NG PILIPINAS
The Pasko sa Puso ng Pilipinas, also known as Christmas in the Heart, is an annual Christmas Thanksgiving event
cum Volunteer's Christmas Party of The Street Classroom. Together with the children- and parent- beneficiaries of a beneficiary-community in Marinduque, series of games, and fun-filled learning activities are conducted to continuously encourage learners to continue schooling and to teach them with life-long lessons and values. Health kits and food packs are also given by the organization to the beneficiaries to celebrate their Christmas with a smile and a grateful heart.

Currently, The Street Classroom has conducted the Pasko sa Puso ng Pilipinas in one beneficiary-community, benefiting 188 attendees.
BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

Designed to culminate a year of volunteerism, the Christmas in the Heart or Pasko sa Puso ng Pilipinas is an annual Thanksgiving Activity cum Volunteers' Christmas Party of The Street Classroom held in one of the community-beneficiaries of the organization. The project name is a play-on-words derived from the song "Christmas in Our Hearts", as Marinduque is considered "The Heart of the Philippines", hence the name "Christmas in the Heart [of the Philippines]".

Still aligning its objectives with the organization's mission, the project is filled with games and activities for learners and their parents to further improve their leadership, communication, and social skills. The formation and strengthening of support system is also implicitly taught through the activities. Gifts provided by the organization is also designed to address problems encountered or found during the Pre-Activity Survey and Ocular Visit of the initial project conducted in the community. The event ends with singing of Christmas songs, boodle feast, and making of Christmas cards.

COMMUNITY-BENEFICIARY
Considering that The Street Classroom is only a year old, the organization had its first Volunteers' Christmas Party under the Pasko sa Puso ng Pilipinas Project in Argao, Mogpog, Marinduque- the organization's
3rd community-beneficiary for the Pangarap ng Puso Project.

ARGAO, MOGPOG, MARINDUQUE | DECEMBER 21, 2019
With all the blessings brought about by the Pangarap ng Puso Project in Argao,
it was decided by the volunteers to conduct the Thanksgiving Activity cum Volunteer's Christmas Party in the said community-beneficiary. Weeks before the conduct of event, a devastating typhoon struck Marinduque, unfortunately damaging the community of Argao which is open from sea wind being a seaside barangay. Despite the destruction caused by the typhoon,
the locals greatly enjoyed the event filled with games and activities for the children and parents. They have continued to smile and exemplify a brave heart which can overcome problems. Furthermore, health kits and water tumblers were given by The Street Classroom as a solution to the single-use plastic problem by the community.
